To allow the charm of "Made in Taichung" to sweep across the nation, the Taichung City Industrial and Commercial Development Investment Promotion Agency (IDIPA) has for the first time partnered with 8 award-winning brands to form a "Gold Medal Star Team," launching a high-profile residency at "Uni-President Department Store Taipei B2" in Taipei’s Xinyi Shopping District from April 15 to April 23. This 9-day spring-limited pop-up joint exhibition not only pushes the high-quality products of local shops onto the national stage but also allows northern consumers to experience the incredible strength of Taichung brands at zero distance!

IDIPA Director-General Xue-sheng Chen stated that Mayor Lu is actively promoting urban economic development, emphasizing not only the growth of production value but also the "alchemy" of brand value. The "Taichung TOP 10 GIFTS," after years of promotion, has become a significant domestic benchmark for quality, creativity, and artisan spirit, representing the diverse and robust industrial energy of Greater Taichung. This collaboration with a landmark northern department store not only realizes the vision of "letting Taichung's high-quality products go out" but also allows northern consumers to have close contact with premium brands from Taichung, further expanding market influence and creating a win-win situation for both industry and retail channels.

Xue-sheng Chen pointed out that IDIPA’s core strategy is "Deepening Local Roots and Stepping Out of Taichung," encouraging local brands to enter retail channels in other counties and cities to further enhance brand visibility and market competitiveness. In the past, many high-quality brands were limited by geographical location and channel resources, mostly relying on online shopping or visits from tourists. Through this department store pop-up sales model located in the core Xinyi District of Taipei, Taichung brands are officially entering the primary department store battlefield. This significantly lowers the threshold for consumer contact and creates more opportunities for direct interaction with the market. It also represents a deep exchange of industry and lifestyle culture between cities, creating a new high-quality consumption experience for consumers while helping businesses boost sales momentum and brand recognition.

IDIPA stated that the participating brands span desserts and delicacies, health and wellness, lifestyle selections, and local fine wines. These include TOP 10 GIFTS first-prize winners—Jellyfish Eat Cheese, Xuan Yu Royal Chicken Essence, sNug, and Wan Wen Food Tourism Factory—as well as "Taichung Gifts"—Chilisman, DUO LI DUO Foods, PINTRUE, and Berry Winery, showcasing the diverse forms and innovative strength of Taichung brands in product R&D and market positioning. To show great sincerity in entering the northern market, each brand has introduced exhibition-exclusive discounts, creating a limited-time consumption highlight to attract the public to stop and shop.

IDIPA further pointed out that they will continue to serve as the industry’s backer.
