Taichung TOP 10 GIFTS Forms Star Team to March into Taipei Dept Store for 9-Day Pop-up Joint Exhibition

To help the high-quality Taichung TOP 10 GIFTS expand into a larger market, the Taichung City Industrial and Commercial Development Investment Promotion Agency (IDIPA) for the first time collaborated with 8 award-winning brands to form a "Gold Medal Star Team." The team is stationed at "Uni-President Department Store Taipei B2" in the Xinyi Shopping District until the 23rd for a 9-day spring-limited pop-up joint exhibition. This move aims not only to push the high-quality products of local Taichung shops onto the national stage but also to allow northern consumers to experience the strength of Taichung brands.
Participating products include TOP 10 GIFTS first-prize brands such as Jellyfish Eat Cheese, Xuan Yu Royal Chicken Essence, sNug, and Wan Wen Food Tourism Factory, as well as Taichung gift brands Chilisman, DUO LI DUO Foods, PINTRUE, and Berry Winery. Each brand has also introduced exhibition-exclusive discounts, creating a limited-time consumption highlight to attract the public to browse and buy.
IDIPA Director-General Xue-sheng Chen stated that Mayor Xiu-yan Lu actively promotes urban economic development, emphasizing not only the growth of production value but also the "alchemy" of brand value. The "Taichung TOP 10 GIFTS" represents the diverse and robust industrial energy of Greater Taichung. Collaborating with a landmark department store in the north realizes the vision of "letting Taichung's high-quality products go out," enabling northern consumers to have close contact with high-quality brands from Taichung.
He noted that many high-quality brands were previously limited by geographical location and channel resources, mostly relying on online shopping or visits from tourists. The department store pop-up sales model symbolizes Taichung brands officially entering the primary department store battlefield, significantly lowering the barrier for consumer contact. It also creates more opportunities for direct interaction with the market, helping businesses boost sales momentum and brand recognition.
Xue-sheng Chen said that IDIPA will play the role of an industrial backer. Through physical sales activities, cross-domain integration, and diversified marketing strategies, IDIPA will assist Taichung brands in expanding channels and strengthening their brand health. This will further enhance the market share and influence of the overall industry in the national market while continuing to deepen the local industrial foundation so that more outstanding brands can grow steadily and form competitive industrial clusters.
He sincerely invited northern residents to seize this rare opportunity to visit the B2 exhibition area of Uni-President Department Store Taipei (MRT City Hall Station, Exit 2) to experience the artisan craftsmanship and exquisite products from Taichung, feeling the quality and warmth of "Made in Taichung."
