Taichung IDIPA Forms TOP 10 GIFTS "Gold Medal Star Team" to Enter Taipei's Xinyi Shopping District; Spring-Limited Joint Exhibition at Uni-President Department Store from 4/15 to 4/23
 


The strongest Taichung gifts are heading to the Xinyi District in Taipei! To spread the charm of "Made in Taichung" across Taiwan, the Taichung City Industrial and Commercial Development Investment Promotion Agency (IDIPA) has, for the first time, collaborated with eight award-winning brands to form a "Gold Medal Star Team." Starting today (15th) through April 23, they will be stationed in the B2 exhibition area of "Uni-President Department Store Taipei Branch" for a nine-day spring-limited pop-up joint exhibition. This allows residents in northern Taiwan to collect popular gifts all at once without traveling to Taichung, experiencing the brand strength of Taichung up close.

IDIPA Director-General Xue-sheng Chen stated that the city government is actively promoting urban economic development, emphasizing not only the increase in production value but also the deepening and elevation of brand value. After years of promotion, the "Taichung TOP 10 GIFTS" has become an important benchmark for quality, creativity, and artisan spirit. Through this collaboration with a landmark department store in the north, the goal of "letting Taichung's high-quality products go out" is realized, expanding market territory and creating a win-win situation for both the industry and retail channels.

IDIPA pointed out that the core strategy of this event is "Deepening Local Roots and Stepping Out of Taichung." Through the department store pop-up sales model, previous geographical and channel limitations are broken, allowing brands to face the consumer market directly. Choosing the core Xinyi shopping district in Taipei not only symbolizes Taichung brands' formal entry into the primary department store battlefield but also lowers the threshold for consumer contact, creating new opportunities for industry and cultural exchange between cities.

IDIPA explained that the participating brands span desserts, health supplements, lifestyle selections, and local fine wines. These include TOP 10 GIFTS first-prize brands such as Jellyfish Eat Cheese, Xuan Yu Royal Chicken Essence, sNug, and Wan Wen Food Tourism Factory, as well as "Taichung Gifts" brands Chilisman, DUO LI DUO Foods, PINTRUE, and Berry Winery, showcasing the diverse and innovative energy of Taichung’s industry. Each brand has also launched exhibition-exclusive discounts, creating a limited-time consumption highlight to attract the public to stop and shop.

IDIPA further stated that in the future, it will continue to assist local brands in expanding channels, strengthening competitiveness, and enhancing the visibility and influence of Taichung’s industries in the national market through sales activities, cross-domain cooperation, and diversified marketing strategies. This will also deepen the industrial foundation and drive overall continuous economic growth.

This spring-limited joint exhibition debuted on April 15 and will last for only nine days. IDIPA sincerely invites the public to seize the opportunity to visit the site and experience the artisan craftsmanship and exquisite goods from Taichung, feeling the quality and warmth of "Made in Taichung."
