With the healthy eating trend continuing to gain momentum, Taiwanese local agricultural product processing brands are accelerating their presence in overseas markets. The local governments of four central Taiwan cities/counties collaborated to form a delegation for the "Hong Kong Sports and Leisure Expo" held from July 16th to 22nd. Under the banner of the "Charming Central Taiwan" pavilion, they promoted local specialty foods and tourism assets. Notably, Duo Li Duo International Food, an enterprise based in Taichung City, led the exhibition with its range of healthy snacks, garnering significant attention from Hong Kong and Macau buyers and media. This success effectively broadened international market access for Central Taiwan's food brands.
The exhibition, spearheaded by the Taichung City Government in collaboration with Nantou, Changhua, and Miaoli Counties/Cities, successfully attracted over ten thousand visitors on its opening day. Duo Li Duo and its affiliated enterprise, Hai Yi Agricultural Products, jointly showcased several key products, including the "Hua Kui Gift Box," which won the "New Taste Food Trend" Silver Award, the Three-Roast Bamboo Salt Series, and the Whole Boneless Milkfish. A tasting area was also set up, drawing a continuous stream of visitors. Furthermore, several channel distributors from the Hong Kong and Macau regions expressed strong interest in partnership at the site.
Since its inception, the Duo Li Duo brand has adhered to the core philosophy of "Direct Supply from Small Farmers, Additive-Free." Founder Wang Duo-Li personally led the team to participate in the exhibition. He noted that in response to changing overseas market demands, the company plans to adjust its flavors and packaging preferences to cater to Hong Kong and Macau consumers, thereby accelerating the brand's international expansion strategy. Besides the brand founder, Chief Marketing Officer Wu Kun-Tai, General Manager of Raw Materials Department Wu Li-Ling, and Chief Information Officer Su Cheng-Cheng also engaged in in-depth discussions with buyers. From product localization strategies and transparent supply chain management to cross-border e-commerce and overseas warehousing deployment, they comprehensively presented the company's global operational blueprint, setting a new benchmark for Taiwan's agricultural processing exports.

In addition to Duo Li Duo, other brands exhibiting in the area included A-Chi Chef Nougat Snowflake Q-Cookies, Nature Wind Parent-Child Homestay, and Taichung Harbor Hotel. Through local specialty products and accommodation experiences, they collectively promoted the cuisine and tourism culture of Central Taiwan. Among these, the Taiwan Railway Bicycle experience, which combines leisure travel, particularly captured the attention of many Hong Kong and Macau tourists.
Wang Duo-Li emphasized that this joint effort by the four cities/counties not only created substantial benefits for the brands expanding into the Hong Kong and Macau markets but also effectively strengthened the overall image of Central Taiwan as a hot spot for Taiwanese cuisine and tourism. Moving forward, the region will continue to deepen cooperation with Hong Kong, Macau, and international partners, working together to elevate Taiwanese brands onto the global stage.
