Taiwanese Flavors Take Hong Kong by Storm: DUO LI DUO Ignites Buzz as Central Taiwan's Food Brands Shine at Hong Kong Expo!

Hong Kong – From July 16 to 22, 2025, the "2025 Hong Kong Sports and Leisure Expo" saw the grand debut of the "Charming Central Taiwan, Spectacular in Hong Kong" themed pavilion at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. Spearheaded by the Nantou County Government, in collaboration with Taichung, Changhua, and Miaoli counties, this major marketing event brought together an unprecedented delegation of 53 representatives from local governments, associations, and industries. Among them, DUO LI DUO FOODS CORPORATION stood out as a premier Central Taiwan brand, generating enthusiastic responses and becoming a focal point for media and buyers alike.

DUO LI DUO's Award-Winning Offerings Captivate Hong Kong Market
Led personally by founder David Wang, DUO LI DUO arrived in Hong Kong with its marketing, raw materials, and information technology teams. The company highlighted its signature additive-free dried fruits, boneless milkfish, and products that earned the "2025 TOP 100 CAKE GIFTS" Gold Award. On the opening day of the expo, DUO LI DUO's tasting area saw long queues, with Hong Kong and Macau distributors and media eagerly seeking information, demonstrating remarkable appeal. David Wang stated, "We are committed to direct sourcing from smallholder farmers and our additive-free philosophy. We aim to develop flavors tailored to the Hong Kong and Macau markets, allowing the world to savor the true taste of Taiwan."


Andy Wu, Chief Marketing Officer, noted that the team had already developed localized packaging and flavors specifically for the Hong Kong and Macau regions, with several food distributors already expressing preliminary interest in cooperation. Lily Wu, General Manager of the Raw Materials Department, emphasized that the brand's fully traceable and transparent supply chain is a key factor in penetrating international markets. Beyond the impressive food exhibits, Alex Su, Chief Information Officer, unveiled the brand's international blueprint, which includes cross-border e-commerce, overseas warehousing, and the establishment of a technical support network to ensure stable supply and enhance international competitiveness.


Central Taiwan's Diverse Attractions Promoted
In addition to the food showcase, the four counties took the opportunity to promote their distinct tourism features. Nantou highlighted Cingjing Farm, its tea culture, and Sun Moon Lake. Taichung showcased the National Taichung Theater and the Audit Village. Miaoli emphasized its Hakka culture, while Changhua focused on historical sites like Lukang Old Street and Baguashan. According to statistics from the Tourism Administration, Hong Kong and Macau visitors to Taiwan reached 1.31 million in 2024, a nearly 10% year-on-year increase. Central Taiwan's four counties have become popular destinations for in-depth travel, with Taichung International Airport operating 5–6 daily flights to and from Hong Kong and Macau.

David Wang concluded, "This event was not just about promoting the DUO LI DUO brand; it was a testament to the collective efforts of Central Taiwan's industries. We will continue to collaborate with our Hong Kong and Macau partners to bring Central Taiwan's healthy and delicious products to global markets."
